Clothing, including footwear, worn for sports or physical activity is known as sportswear or active wear. Most sports and physical activities require special attire for practical, comfort, or safety reasons. So that’s why we made some outfits to protect ourselves. Sportswear must include aesthetic qualities such as a pleasing appearance and feel, as well as functional aspects that boost athletes' performance, give additional comfort, and support the wearer's health. Today's sports and active outdoor clothing is lighter, softer, more durable, and dries faster. Sport is an essential component of living a better and more balanced life. Apart from athletics, there has been a growing trend of wearing sportswear in everyday life. Technology advancements have increased the bar for sportswear. Individuals seek performance and clothing comfort in addition to durability, design, and being trendy. The goal of this study is to find out how observant people are when shopping for sportswear. This study includes professional athletes from Physical Education and Sports School students, as well as Textile Engineering students with technical understanding of clothing. Face-to-face interviews were conducted with 100 students from each group. Because of their understanding, Textile Engineering students give greater attention to technical aspects, yet aesthetic properties are found to be another essential component influencing purchasing decisions. If students in Physical Education and Sports Schools attend a session on raw material qualities, they are likely to make better purchasing decisions.
